2012 Redistricting

Every 10 years following the U.S. Census, the City of Selma is required to redraw city council ward boundaries to balance the population among 8 city council wards in accordance with Federal, State and local laws. The City of Selma's population in 2010 was 20,756. In order to balance the population, the target population is 2,595 persons in each ward.
