Downtown Selma Association Membership Information:

      We have a membership program that is available to help our organization remain active and we would like everyone to be part of that. Membership in the DSA is an investment in the stabilization, preservation, and revitalization of the downtown. Healthy attractive downtowns foster economic growth and community pride by creating and retaining jobs, strengthening the tax base, providing and atmosphere in which to shop, dine and work, and promoting an awareness of the history and quality of life in the city.

Why is the Downtown Selma Association important?

Everyone in the community benefits from a renewed vibrant downtown.
Public and private resources are brought together to develop creative strategies for economic revitalization and to build a positive, unified downtown identity.
Citizens and visitors judge a city’s health by the strength of the downtown.
The DSA-Main Street program is a management working together for the stabilization of downtown.

      Our mission of the Downtown Selma Association is to build a viable downtown, which provides a clean, attractive environment and promotes a variety of quality products and services in a friendly hometown atmosphere.
