The Department of Public Buildings is in the Performing Arts Center located at 1000 Selma Ave., Selma, Alabama. This department oversees the use and maintenance of all public buildings owned by the City of Selma. This includes booking events for the Carl C. Morgan Convention Center, the Larry D. Striplin, Jr. Performing Art Center and the Vaughan-Smitherman Museum. The City of Selma’s Ceramic Art Program also falls under the umbrella of the Public Buildings Department.

       The Larry D. Striplin, Jr. Performing Art Center, the Carl C. Morgan Convention Center, and the Vaughan-Smitherman Museum are all available for use by the general public. To find out more information about each building and the Ceramic Art Program follow the links below.
