MISSION

The mission of the Selma Recreation Department is to provide facilities and a comprehensive recreation program designed to help meet the leisure needs, interests, and desires of everyone in the community - both genders, young and old alike, and people from every economic group and social strata throughout the year.

SUMMER PROGRAMS

Descriptions:

Playgrounds: June - July, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 12 noon
Byrd, Clark, Edgewood, Meadowview, Payne, Sophia P. Kingston, Youth Development Center

Dinkins Pool: June - July, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 6 pm
Swimming lessons are taught by certified American Red Cross water safety instructors on Tuesday and Thursday. Registration will be held at Dinkins Pool on June 6, 7 & 8 from 9 am - 12 noon. FREE but registration is limited.

Basketball: June - July
CHAT Academy Gymnasium, Selma High School Gymnsasium, School of Discovery Gymnasium

CAP League: June - July
Games are played at Softball Complex
