The Ceramic Art Program has been operating in the basement of the Old Dallas Academy Building for over 50 years.  With over 1500 molds from which to choose participants in the program are limited only by their imagination.  The program is open to everyone who is willing to pay a $15.00 yearly membership fee.  Firing costs and paint costs are built into the individual piece prices with the majority of pieces falling into the $2.00 - $6.00 range.
            Each summer the Ceramic Art Program offers two sessions of summer Art Camp for children 8 years old to 16 years.  The cost of the program is $100.00 per child.  In the sessions the children work with local artists to create a minimum of seven individual works of art such as glazed ceramic pieces, stained ceramic pieces, acrylic paintings, and wire sculpture to name just a few.
